Quiz8 is a real-time multiplayer quiz project with AI-generated questions.

What it actually does
Type a topic — a school subject, a film, a decade, an inside joke — and the AI writes the questions on the spot. Players open a link, type a name, and they are in: no sign-up, nothing to install. Scoring is live and rewards speed as well as accuracy.
What it costs, and where free ends
Creating and playing a game costs nothing and needs no card. Everyone can host up to 42 players with 20 questions and 10 topics per match, plus all power-ups, images and full reports. The free plan shows ads. Pro costs €3.99 a month or €23.99 a year and adds no ads, evening standings, personalized quizzes, event name, logo and colours, and game history with question editing. Players never pay.
Where the questions come from
A language model writes them — DeepSeek — from the topic you type, rather than pulling from a fixed bank, so a second game on the same subject is not the first one again. The trade-off is that it can be wrong: sometimes a question has two defensible answers, or it is overconfident about the last year or two. That is why every reveal carries one line explaining why the answer is right — it is the quickest way to catch a bad question before you play it.
