By using Quiz8 you agree to these terms.

Use of the service

The service is provided 'as is' for recreational and demonstrative purposes. Improper or illegal use is prohibited.

User-generated content

Nicknames and answers are provided by users; the host is responsible for moderating the session.

Limitation of liability

We do not guarantee continuous availability or absence of errors. We are not responsible for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for paid digital services.

Account requirement

Creating or hosting a game requires an authenticated account. You are responsible for safeguarding access credentials.

Pro subscription

Quiz8 is free to use. Pro is an optional paid plan, billed at 3,99 € per month or 23,99 € per year, VAT included where applicable. Charges are always made in euro; any other currency shown on the site is an approximate conversion, for reference only. Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the same price, until you cancel. Alternatively, the Pass Serata gives Pro for 24 hours from purchase for 2,99 €, charged once: it does not renew and needs no cancellation.

Payments and invoices

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record for the sale. Lemon Squeezy is the seller named on your invoice, collects and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax, and its own terms govern the payment itself. We never see or store your card details. Your invoices are available from the Account page.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from the Account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal, it does not end the current period: you keep Pro until the period you have already paid for runs out, after which the account returns to the free plan. There is no cancellation fee.

Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. Because Pro is a digital service that begins immediately, at checkout you expressly consent to it starting within that period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. To withdraw, write to [email protected] within 14 days of purchase.

Refunds

Outside the withdrawal period refunds are not automatic, but write to [email protected] if something went wrong — a service failure, a duplicate charge, a subscription you were unable to cancel. Quiz8 is run by one person and these are handled case by case.

Price changes

We may change the price of Pro. Any change is announced by email to the address on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect, and never applies to a period you have already paid for. If you do not accept the new price, cancel before it takes effect.

Abuse and suspension

We may suspend or block accounts involved in spam, abusive automation or misuse of AI generation features.

Account deletion

You may delete your account from the Account page. The action is irreversible (except for short-term security logs retained briefly).

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use implies acceptance of changes.
